The Hampus pre-scraper 9130 has the same basic design as the standard model – the Hampus pre-scraper 9100, with a more powerful scraper segment for heavier applications. The Hampus pre-scraper 9130 is used in the mining industry and other demanding work environments. In addition to the standard segment which is 175 mm high,140mm segments for a more compact installation are available.When having problems with belt travel, double segments without carbide edges on the outer ends of the scraper are recommended and comes in both heigths. Vendig’s unique spring lever ensures that the correct pressure is maintained against the belt which reduces maintenance and prolongs the lifespan of the scraper and the conveyor belt. The pre-scraper shall be positioned against the drive pulley immediately below the flow of material. Recommended for ø 220-630 mm pulleys.
